This policy explains how UK LTD in 24 Hours (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit ukltdin24hours.co.uk or use our company formation services. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and country, when you send an enquiry or place an order.
- Company formation data — information Companies House requires about directors, shareholders and people with significant control, such as full name, date of birth, nationality, residential and service addresses, occupation and shareholding.
- Identity and anti-money laundering data — copies of passports or ID cards, proof of address and the results of identity checks.
- Technical data — basic information sent by your browser, such as IP address and pages visited, used to keep the website secure and working.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions and provide the services you order (contract).
- To file your company with Companies House and keep statutory records (legal obligation).
- To carry out customer due diligence under the UK Money Laundering Regulations (legal obligation).
- To keep our website and services secure and improve them (legitimate interests).
Some information you provide for incorporation — such as directors’ names, service addresses and month and year of birth — is published on the public Companies House register by law.
Who we share it with
We share data only where needed to provide our services: Companies House, HMRC where you ask us to, identity-verification providers, our hosting and email providers, and professional partners (such as accountants or banks) that you ask us to introduce you to. We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Where data is processed outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Client and anti-money laundering records are kept for at least 5 years after our business relationship ends, as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive a copy of your data. Email hello@ukltdin24hours.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work (for example, remembering your light or dark mode choice in your browser). If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
