Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to form my company?

Once your details are complete and every director has verified their identity, we prepare and submit your application to Companies House the same business day — Premium orders are handled first. Most companies are registered within 24 hours of submission. Companies House processing can take longer at busy times, and we keep you updated at every step.

What documents do I need to provide?

A valid passport or national ID card for each director and shareholder, plus a proof of residential address dated within the last 3 months (a bank statement or utility bill). We also need your proposed company name, a short description of what the business does and how the shares will be split.

Do I need to live in the UK?

No. Directors and shareholders of a UK limited company can live anywhere in the world. You do need a UK registered office address, which is included in every non-resident plan.

What about taxes?

A UK company pays Corporation Tax on its profits and must file annual accounts and a confirmation statement. After incorporation HMRC issues your company's Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR). We are not accountants, but we can introduce you to an accountant who works with UK companies owned by non-residents.

Can you help me open a business bank account?

Yes. Premium clients get a consultation on UK business accounts and payment providers that suit their business and country of residence. Account approval is always decided by the bank or provider, so we can't guarantee an account, but we'll help you prepare a strong application.

Do you support my country?

We accept clients from most countries. We can't work with people or businesses subject to UK sanctions — you can check the UK sanctions list. If you're unsure, send us a message before ordering.
